Namo Amitabha Buddha! (3 times) I respectfully bow to the nine directions of Heaven, the ten directions of Buddhas. I respectfully bow to the Sovereign of Heaven and the Queen of the Earth. I respectfully bow to the Guardian Deities of this land and the household Kitchen Gods. I respectfully bow to our Ancestors and all departed spirits of the lineage. The householder is: [Full Name] Residing at: [Address] Today is the New Year festival (New Year's Eve or Day 1, 2, 3 of Tet) of the year... We have sincerely prepared incense, flowers, and offerings, establishing an altar to respectfully report: As we cast off the old year and welcome the new, we respectfully invite the Supreme Deities and our ancestors to descend and accept the offerings. We humbly pray for your protection over our entire family—for a year of health, prosperity, success, and safety from all harm. With a sincere heart, we bow before you and seek your divine grace.
